Under the direction of the IT Client Services Manager and/or the IT Support Supervisor, performs a variety of technical support services related to the installation, operation, repair and diagnosis of computer equipment and related services. Also provides technical support assistance to both IT Support technicians and end users as needed. Assists with projects and special requests as needed.

  1. Consistently delivers quality work during allotted task completion and SLAs.
  2. Proven ability to take on additional responsibilities with a positive attitude.
  3. Proven ability to recommend improvements and implement solutions.
  4. Provide excellent customer service at all times to internal and external customers.
  5. Record tickets into ticketing system and follow up with users for pending tickets to meet SLAs.
  6. Advanced support for EHR/EMR Systems and clinical medical devices.
  7. Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing desktop PCs, laptops, printers and peripheral hardware, resolve PC connectivity / hardware problems.
  8. Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
  9. Setup and maintain basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware.
  10. Performs routine preventative maintenance on all computer system equipment
  11. Provide technical support to end users; provide training and support in the proper use of installed software applications, telephonic and communication systems; responds to questions or problems in person or on the telephone
  12. Support for call manager systems.
  13. Log & manage E-waste.
  14. All other duties as assigned

1  Any combination or equivalent to: Undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science or  3-6 years’ experience in computer support, trouble-shooting, repair work and system administration.

  1. Certified as an “A+ Certified Technician” preferred.
  2. ITIL Foundations certification strongly preferred
  3. Valid California driver’s License, automobile and auto insurance for traveling to remote facilities
  4.  Epic Hyperspace knowledge preferred.
