Data Analysis (Account Management) Internship
Duration: June 6 – August 19, 2022
Due to the complexity of the COVID-19 pandemic, this internship will likely be entirely remote, depending on PSCU’s onsite business practices by Summer 2022, there is a chance that we may host onsite meetings or events in St. Petersburg, FL

PSCU Business Unit this Internship Directly Impacts Account Management
The role of the Account Management team is to support all of our clients in achieving their strategic goals through each of our supported solutions and to be the owner of the overall partnership.
Our Team consists of six Regional Vice Presidents (RVP) who each have a team of Account Executives (AE) that directly interface with our clients. The Account Executive is charged with strategy and growth. The number of clients an AE supports can depend on the overall size and complexity of the relationship.
Data Analysis (Account Management) Internship Goals and Objectives
The purpose of this internship is to assist with building and delivering results, derived through the use of business intelligence and data analytics, with an aim of increasing client engagement and aligning business strategies, while enabling enterprise efficiency and promoting cross-company collaborative innovation. Successful implementation of this initiative will enhance customer and consumer experiences alike, enabling business growth and advancing operational excellence.
The Data intern will support the organization by developing and delivering metrics and reporting solutions that expose ‘actionable insights’, modernize the way we consume data and make data-driven conversations the norm. Using an array of tools and experience with relational databases, the intern will support the team by identifying opportunities for PSCU Account Executives to deepen engagement and relationships with client partners, through best practices, communication initiatives and PSCU Industry involvement.

The PSCU’s Summer Internship Program provides you – a junior or senior undergraduate student – with the chance to develop and hone your skills in business. We offer the opportunity to build for your future by learning firsthand the Financial and more specifically Credit Union industry through professional inter-organizational experience, coupled with focused learning opportunities in your chosen career path or developmental interest. You’ll also gain insight into our rich history, our unique culture, and our committed social conscience.
Over the course of this 10-week program, it is PSCU’s goal to provide our interns not only with a real job experience that better prepares future graduates for their chosen profession, but to provide them the knowledge and experience vital to navigate a business environment.
In our program, interns will engage with a group of their peers in acquiring a knowledge foundation in Credit Unions, the financial industry, Six Sigma, preparing for a job search, presentation skills, and more. You will also be given opportunities to network directly with industry leaders at PSCU.
PSCU Intern Program Entry Qualifications
- Completion of sophomore or junior year in an accredited undergraduate degree program with a 3.0/4.0 GPA at time of application.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate thoughts, communicate, completely, and concisely.
- Strong, organizational, and detail skills, with the ability to consistently perform as business requests.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to adjust easily when directions and priorities change on short notice.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite® with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
- Proficiency in software that applies to your major and function-specific internship.
- Passion for learning the Credit Union Industry.

Data Analysis (Account Management) Internship Requirements
Internship responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- A base understanding and desire to learn about Client Relations and Business Development, through the use of data intelligence and analytics
- Analyze data to find actionable insights that lead to great business decisions and new business opportunities
- Build dashboards and custom reports to track key metrics, empower stakeholders with analytics, and investigations on key KPIs
- Execute deep-dive analyses, addressing key business issues and present findings to stakeholders
- Proactively make recommendations for new initiatives to improve key metrics and marketing KPI outcomes
