AWS Marketplace is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to scale our business by supporting customer buying experiences, pre- and post-sale, by assisting internal teams with understanding the business benefits and value proposition of AWS Marketplace, and by identifying opportunities to improve our overall processes and buying experiences. Primary BDM responsibilities include; providing support to both buyers and sellers through the AWS Marketplace purchase process, monitoring and acting upon monthly forecasts of renewal activity, and communicating and rolling out new programs to our field sales teams. The BDM will be part of a team that serves as trusted advisor to our customers, to AWS Sales Leadership, and to various AWS internal teams.

Key job responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
Collaborates with AWS Marketplace Customer Advisors to meet or exceed assigned revenue and performance goals
Monitors renewals reporting and acts with AWS Marketplace personnel, AWS Field Sales, and Partners, to maximize renewal rates
Educates and provides enablement support to assigned internal teams such as Inside Sales Reps, Demand Generation, ISV and Partner Success Managers
Assists Field Enablement, Product Management, and Customer Advisors, with communicating new program launches to the AWS Field Sales Teams
Provides hands-on support as required for buyers as they procuring and deploying offerings available on AWS Marketplace
Submits and monitors status of promotions and incentives available to customers to, ensuring all requests are approved and incentives are applied once transactions close
Drives product improvements and innovation by ensuring customer feedback is provided back to AWS Marketplace Product Management
Constantly evaluates and proposes ways to improve existing processes for customers and internal team members
